Directions to RBINS:

Public transport is strongly recommended and cheap ( a taxi from the airport is very expensive (+- 40 EUR),
+ no parking possibilities in the vicinity of the Museum).

From the airport:

Bus:
12 or 21, bus-stop "Luxembourg" (5 min. walk from the Museum) , +- 5 Euro for a ticket
see STIB-MIVB website
or the route map

Train:
Below the arriving/departure hall from the airport is the Airport train station, you can buy a ticket at the station or on the train (5,10 Euro).
There are regular trains to Brussels, every hour at 09, 27, 36, 52 minutes. All these trains stop at Brussels-North, Brussels-Central (underground)
and Brussels-Midi, the three main train stations in Brussels.

To get close to the museum: From each of the three main stations you can get a train to station “Brussels -Luxembourg"
(underground, 5 min. walk from the Museum).

See www.b-rail.be/main/E/

From Brussels City:

Ticket is 2 EUR on the bus for one-way ticket, can be used for bus and metro, 11.20 EUR for 10 journeys.
(see http://www.mivb.be/tickets.html?l=en)

Timetables and other information about busses and underground: http://www.mivb.be/index.htm?l=en

By foot:
For your information: from Brussels-Central, the Museum is only a +- 25 minutes walk.

Hotels:

RBINS is located next to the buildings of the European Parliament, because of this all hotels close to the museum are very expensive
(prices from 170 EUR per night are not rare !!!).

We recommend to use the booking.com website to find a hotel, use this link, filter by "European district", or the district: "Elsene/Ixelles" to find
a room close to the museum, or use the more general search to find something more in the city center.
