Agenda

BioSystematics Berlin, 21-27 February 2011

More than 500 taxonomists and systematists from all over the world will meet in Berlin for the BioSystematics conference (http://www.biosyst-berlin-2011.de/). BHL-Europe is sponsoring the conference (we provide the conference bags) and we will have on symposium (22 Feb) and one workshop (26 Feb). Depending on how many BHL-Europe partners are participating, we may have side meetings to discuss various aspects of the project. We need to find out who is coming to plan dates and align travel schedules and also for arranging social events. This is first to find out who is coming when to Berlin in February for the conference. Please identify yourself in the table below and if you are available and interested in side meetings. Suggestions for agenda items are also welcome.

12:00-12:30 - h-scholz h-scholz Feb 17, 2011 There was an AI from the tech call to decide on certain development aspects. NOTES

Dinner suggestions:
22 February: BHLE dinner after the symposium - Alter Krug, Dahlem, 19:00 CET, 030-832 7000 - we leave directly from the conference
23 February: BHLE dinner after the meeting at MfN - Nola's am Weinberg, Suisse cuisine, 19:00 CET, it is a 1.6 km walk from the museum
24 February: Social Evening (Promenade Concert and Buffet Dinner in the Greenhouses of the Botanic Garden) - only for conference participants
25 February: Private dinner and Whisky tasting, Oldenburger Strasse 33, Berlin (Home of Henning & family) - we need to start early (18:00) to finish early as a 3 year old lady need to sleep.... I suggest that Boris takes the group from MfN to my home to avoid making plans and descriptions how to get there. Boris has been there twice so he should be a good guide.
