BHL-Europe Use Case Work Group (UCG)
Aims and Scopes
There are two major target user groups we have to address according to the Description of Work for BHL-Europe: 1)
content users and 2)
technology users. In the Use Case Working Group we will further develop and discuss different use cases that will be relevant for the further development of the BHL-Europe architecture and technological impl ementation. We will follow a consistent approach to describe all use cases relevant for BHL-Europe (see template below).
There are two use case groups:
1)
Content user use case group (WP3) - including taxonomic use cases
2)
Technology user use case group (WP2)
Description of target groups
We have a set of different
target users (DoW BHL-Europe):
Content users: EU citizens that are interested in BHL-Europe/ BHL content.
- Natural scientists
- Historians/ social scientists
- Artists
- European citizen (e.g. hobby scientists)
- Students/ Teacher
- Environmental and conservation agencies, government officials, policy makers
Technology users: Users interested in technological output, best practice approaches and quantity and quality of content.
- Librarians
- Digitization centres
- Digital library/ open access networks
