- Discussion: BHL makes OCR through IA, as far as I know. How does BHLE make OCR if we get just page images from partners, do we have our own engine for that? Related to that: how do we synchronize Taxonomic Intelligence between Europe and US? (Suggested by Henning).

9:15-10.45 Use Cases for the Portal & User Survey Implications [Walter, Boris, Melita]
- Further discuss content user use cases.
- Discussion: D5.8 summarises the expectations of our users based on the recent user survey (BHL-E_5pt8_100805.pdf; p. 44). Bianca extracted several short-term and longterm goals for the development - (BHLSurvey2010_DevelopmentConsiderationsTable-Bianca.pdf). This list is partly included in the conclusions of D5.8 as well It needs to be discussed how comprehensive this list is, how we deal with it, who is responsible for which individiual development task and how do we proceed in formalising the process (portal use cases). It would be particularly interesting to understand what are the priorities for BHLUS, what are the priorities for BHLE and how do we align communication to avoid duplication of work?
