Charge: Biodiversity Heritage Library Staff share the collaborative responsibility for the daily operation, improvement, and promotion of the BHL as related to the mission and goals of the Library and its participating institutions. Staff participate in project communications, including monthly conference calls, BHL's issue tracking system, and various outreach and engagement activities. Staff are responsible for the digitization, discoverability and maintenance of content contributed to the BHL repository by its participating institutions.

NDSR Residents:
Pam McClanahan – SIL Resident, User Needs Analysis;
Alicia Esquivel – Chicago Botanic Garden, Content Analysis of literature;
Katie Mika, -- MCZ, crowdsourcing transcriptions;
Ari – MBG, improve access to scientific illustrations in BHL;

Matthew Bolin – got scanning shipment and putting together another one. Diana Shih retired at end of last year. Selection will be done by Mai Reitmeyer.

Alison Harding at NHM – used all of our funds for scanning so now on hold until April. We’ll keep an eye on Gemini.

Harvard Botany – 2 carts went out. We’re happy to gap fill. Talking with Susan Lynch about archival materials and correspondence.

Bianca – lots of experience through both the current CLIR project and via the Staff list.


Michael at Cornell – registration fee for BHL Singapore – no fee to attend; just responsible for travel and lodging costs.
