- Working on making Portal code now in Github. Taking out all Administrative dependendable code (security schemes, internal addresses calls, etc.), so it can be freely distributed. Mike will be trying it out for a week before announcing it.
- NEH Art of Life is planning it's F2F Meeting for Nov. 12-13. Reviewing funds to invite Nathan Wilson from MBL because of their involvement with the Cluster.

- Internet Archive was out yesterday after what was supposed to be a one hour for DB Upgrades on Wednesday Sept. 11 8:30 - 9:30 am PST turned into 3 hrs and 20 minutes.
- Clustering of Articles: Mike has been fine-tuning the clustering algorithm that takes the titles and groups them with related ones.

In the case of comparing the content from BioStor to itself, he's found several interesting issues, probably things he's inherited from his sources.
For example, two different article records whose only difference is 2 pages is usually the case when one article has the title page and an additional blank page and the other one doesn't. See for example:

Also there's been some cases where two separated parts of the same article, each one has a different DOI but in other cases, the different articles can be joined by the same DOI.

Articles with Titles of Sections, not the subtitles. For example, "Proceedings of Learned Societies" appear several times in the same volume, different pages:
