MODS updates per needs of DPLA – completed in the OAI feed. Data exports will be updated Oct 1st. Bianca will contact DPLA to let them know its available.
Removing Article Start/End page types – Mike recommends hiding article start/end pages types from drop down on adm side. Bianca agrees. We will not delete those types from pages where it was already assigned.
DOIs – registration agencies currently don’t coordinate with each other so there’s no universal identifier.
3500 assigned now, Mike is composing an email to explain the current status and decision points.

Mining Biodiversity –
Setting up full text search as part of semantic search
Testing disqus this week, preparing for TDWG.
Analyzing discussions of BHL on social media and working on paperwork

Science Gossip
Will be doing a challenge post to get users to finish old content and release new

Purposeful Gaming
With new award from BFIG are reconnecting with media to see if we can get coverage
