Please review "Philosophical Discussion of BHL Scope"; there was some further discussion of using the current Drupal CiteBank interface as the new front end to BHL; BHL tech peoplle agreed that there should be no Frankenboooks - FedScan update (KT)
Foldout machine at FedScan is working again; nightshift QA person was removed and IA is searching for a replacement - What are we scanning now? (GD, EJT)
- Proc. Ent Soc. Wash. Whoops, didn't scan them when we thought we did; will scan now
- BAE - in the works. MK will get list of titles to KT and SCP; SCP will work with VA to get them barcoded and then get that list back to KT for the pick list
- Not yet doing things from curators' offices yet
- Imminent relocation of scanning room! (MK)
BHL scanning room will be moving ASAP, move complete by October 12 at the latest; Grace and Erin will have spaces elsewhere in SIL as well as a desk in the new BHL scanning room. The new space is around the corner from where it is now (CEG-xx - Other things we're working on (time permitting)
- SCP suggested that EJT and GD work up a Computers in Libraries presentation on mass scanning (perhaps error tracking)
