- Importation of Other Scanning
BHL will shortly be importing additional materials from other scanning operations. Among the first will be items from the California Digital Library (UC Berkeley, UCLA), other contributors from Internet Archive scanning sources. Bianca Lipscomb is being assisted by staff from all BHL partners to analyze the Internet Archive data ingest to refine those items being pulled in to determine how appropriate the content is to BHL. The "philosophy" of the the ingest content is under discussion here. - Enhanced User Feedback Tools
- BHL is now actively using a new system (Gemini) to track user feedback and problems. The "feedback" button on the top of every page will give you a form to fill out; additionally, EVERY content page now has a link to Gemini (a small yellow triangle); please use this to report problems of any sort. The Gemini database of issues is reviewed constantly and problems reported are assigned to appropriate staff. This tracking and problem assignment will help to resolve issues quickly. It is highly recommended that you use this for issues instead of email.
- New Feedback links for reporting problems (example)
