- BHL Collections Committee membership opening (need SI presence)
MRK had spoken to Robin Everly before the holiday season and she had agreed; Bianca will be in touch with her. - NH space and pulling books (thanks Gil!)
Stacks are open again for BHL work and will open to the public in later January. The grand opening in March. - - Jan 4, 2011 I'm curious to know the status of Macaw scanning
Scanning is going on; but the uploading to IA is still being done manually; not working for SIL as it did for MOBOT; SIL in contact with Hank at IA to work out the details. KT reported that she briefly spoke with Maggie Dittemore and expects there won't be problem with scanning items from Anth, will be following up with her later in the month. - FYI, Scanlist export functionality finally clarified, Grace has list of all SIL bids
BC reported that she can now export from the scanlist and gave to every scanning library; GC has the SIL list; KT asked if BC can get a list of things w/out bids. - UIUC update
UIUC now doing some scanning of BHL like materials; SCP asked if we can update the monographic de-dupper; UIUC will also do gap-filling for BHL - FYI from Bianca

IA is looking into modifying the pricing of scanning and also changing the derivatives generated. - CiteBank
BC asks, could use some SIL eyes to check SIL digital repository items now in CiteBank harvested via OAI; SP said that Doug Dunlop will take the first cut at things. - Curious also about providing some language for publications like Flora of the U.S.S.R. on our Permissions page...
