ProQuest File requirements
Hi, Adam,
We do not have a preferred ingest format for article-level metadata (I assume you are talking about a feed for ingest into Summon here), but we can work with most formats and schemas that you might provide.
I am copying my colleague Valerie Mahon who will be able to help you troubleshoot any potential areas of concern or improvement with the BHL Summon feed, or let you know if everything seems to be running smoothly.
We look forward to seeing your forthcoming KBART files.
Kind regards and happy holidays,
Ben

Subject: KBART related question
Hi Benjamin,
I am working with a Biodiversity Heritage Library (
http://biodiversitylibrary.org/) task force on improving the metadata feeds BHL provides to vendors. We have made significant progress on a KBART title level feed.
Now we are focusing on an article level feed. OCLC and Ex Libris both support a Pubmed XML feed. Does Proquest have a preferred ingest format for article level metadata?
Thank you,
Adam Chandler
