- 2. EOL CL meetings and afterwards - Tom: After the meeting Tom met with Erik Mata--looking for more cool stuff from BHL, not just content. Things we need we can't do on our won: better OCR, data mining. Tom can document how much partnering we have done and all the grants submitted.
- 3. technical update - Chris: BHL is now part of NEH digging into data challenge, Darwin's Library continues with last set of data loading. Code completed yesterday. AMNH and Cambridge are reviewing the site. Last changes next Monday and then public launch.
- 4. BHL Europe meetings in June: Martin and Bianca will attend. William will attend. Chris Sleep and Lola are covering for Adrian until someone else is in place, by end of June. Boris is working for BHLE, working for Patricia Mergen. Agenda should be set in a day or two. Connie will skype into BPG and Collections meetings
- 5. budget status - Tom: Project year 4 MacArthur money--Tom is waiting to see if extra money and how much can be applied to scanning.
- 6. Governance changes - all We must move on this because we have many libraries to commit to executive membership: CAS, NHM, Kew, Smithsonian, MCZ have all committed. Connie will work on this with Tom's help.
7. Tom will be interviewed by NPR tomorrow about BHL! Graham asked if we wanted to put a short paper together for the iPres meeting in Singapore--he has to be there for a meeting anyway ; Connie noted that Ernst Mayr Library has filled our vacant BHL position.
