Member meeting highlights?
Outside attendees - only 4 people attended. Presentations half of 1st day geared towards outside but also good for new members. Day 2 all member and affiliate focused. Looked at spending for 2014 and budget for 2015
Productive meeting, large number of members came. Only 5 couldn’t make it, mostly affiliate.
Focused on value of membership vs affiliates. How to make membership more attractive? Expanding membership - how to do that? Also globally. Maybe consider charging affiliates for services. Groups looking at creating policy around this. Reviewed draft of strategic plan again. Mission changed from last year – differences added “improve research methodology”
Incorporation of artworks in BHL – show of hands poll indicated everyone liked idea of including it
Deep dive tech discussion was about BHL platform being moved to SIL by the end of the year – members approved this at meeting. William, Mike and Joel will take primary lead on this. Martin met with Chuck and William today to work out details.
Next members meeting in London in March/April 2016
Any Feedback on Notes? no Bianca hasn’t had chance to followup since meeting
Stats – Bianca noticed SCIELO titles and items didn’t match (more than one item could be attached to a title)
Family violence title got pulled into BHL and probably needs to be removed – Mike will look at

Remaining IA Flickr uploads – in progress, Joel says will take several months
Science Gossip – Trish will be doing a BHL blog post this week for posting next Monday
Trish still spending time responding to user questions, appointing moderators , and building the FAQ
2nd Content uploads - metadata page numbering was off by 1, Mike sent updated spreadsheet. 2k images were corrupted but they fixed those but uploaded them on their own


Purposeful Gaming
Desmond meeting – what was latest email from him? Proposed 2 pm tomorrow. He is asking for extra metadata about the pages (bib metadata to show in UI) this data isn’t in the mongoDB and isn’t needed by us. He was asking how to manage annotated comments in the transcriptions (comments in brackets) and line breaks. What do we want him to do with brackets? Do we need coordinates for these? If we had no coordinates how would we incorporate it back into the game? Maybe some bracketed text we do want to push to the games e.g. Mi[k?]e. Lets look at some more bracketed data to determine how we want TILT to handle it.
Tiltfactor – anyone looked over video? Trish will propose a 1pm call Wed
F2F meeting - available dates May 11-13th and 19-22nd what do we prefer?
What is availability of housing in may? Need for 6 people. William has contacted Suzanne Gregory to find out.

FromThePage problems – did we resolve? Joe said when books are imported from IA the images aren’t showing up correctly. Ben was looking into. Mike will send current logs on server.
Joe sent out guidelines for seed catalogs– need to review
