June 28, 2011 BHL Executive Committee notes

• Topics:
• gBHL meeting issues. - Bibliotecha Alexandrina esp.: meeting proposal. Field Museum confirmed that we can have the conference room on Nov 13 (the day before the LIfe & Lit conference). Catering should be well under $1000. People will have to pay for one-two nights at the hotel, at least. Tom will be talking to Abel Packer and William to see if this is feasible. Not sure about Bibliotheca Alexandria contingent. William have drafted some notes and should have an agenda draft for a global BHL meeting. Tom noted that Cathy should address who should attend from BHL, don't want to dominate. Want the meeting to be under 20.
• Connie noted that some people have expressed that they are uncertain how money has been spent. Tom noted that if anyone has specific questions, he will be happy to provide answers.
• Tom will be submitting a revised budget to EOL with revised rates to us today and then to EOL.
• BHLEC - summer schedules: Send Tom summer schedule so he can plan calls.
