Notes discussion with collections – collection committee has final decision and still needs to implement
User generated PDFs – status? We said we wanted to include them. About a year since we discussed. Bianca will talk with Martin as to when we want to do it. Updates?
OCLC ingest of BHL data? Mike stopped the ingest this week by stopping the synching at OCLC Digital Gateway. They brought in all sets with a lot of duplicate data. OCLC will need to work with us to delete what’s there and start over from scratch.
Smithsonian payment now requires a report for Mike’s time. Members Voted to fund William for 1 yr with incremental payments. Mining Biodiversity is funding 7 months of Williams time this year.
Mexico visit was good. CONABIO signed MOU and are now part of BHL central. UNAM is main force in libraries. They have grey literature right now to contribute to BHL. Next workshop for the libraries from across Mexico.
EC – created nominating committee to choose next committee members.
Art of Life
Trish emailed Joel for current processing stats.
Update of Kalev’s code on Flickr – Joel is updating Kalev’s scripts and re-running and thinks it will be done by next Tuesday. Then remaining 12 million images will need to be uploaded.
ConSciCom/Zooniverse –
Mike Progress on getting them our images? Mike did a utility for grabbing all images for a particular item.
Trish send mike list of 5 journals to send to Zooniverse and he will start process running. Zooniverse still needs to let us know where to upload.

Purposeful Gaming
IMLS reports submitted and Trish will send to all project members.

Next steps with generating better OCR – Mike L will start generating Tesseract outputs. He will use the criteria of English publications from 1900-1923
Mongodb and Wikimedia install – we need dates from Mike W. when this can be enabled. He says on hold till Cassandra can add memory to the servers.
Tiltfactor work – Trish followup on next meeting.
Mike L would like to get actual outputs from game for testing.
Text to image linking tool – no updates on Desmond’s site. Trish will email him to get definitive answer on whether toll will be further developed.

Annotations – waiting for Riza to shorten documents before William and Trish can start annotations.
Need to identify the type of platform that will be used for social media interactions.
