From Reagan National Airport

Take Metro Yellow Line from "National Airport" to "Gallery Place Chinatown" for the closest station to the Fairfield Inn (500 H St. NW), see the Metro Trip Planner for more station stops http://wmata.com - cost is around $3 for a regular farecard.

From Dulles Airport

The 5A bus (which will take you to either the Rosslyn Metro or the L’Enfant Plaza Metro), from there you can transfer to the subway to get to the hotel area (I take this regularly, it costs $7.00 – exact fare needed) . Washington Metro Trip Planner http://wmata.com/

Both trips take about an hour; the 5A bus comes about every 30 minutes or so; both have stops right outside the terminal.

The taxi will cost about $75 to downtown and take about 45 minutes

From BWI Airport

Cheapest transport is via MARC train:
- take shuttle from BWI airport to MARC train station (shuttle stops are located on the lower level terminal roadway in between door numbers 1 & 2, 8 & 9, 14 & 15, and 17 & 18)
- then take MARC train South to Washington, Union Station, cost $7 with advanced purchase via ticket kiosk OR you may purchase a ticket with cash on the train for $12
