- During the CETAF General meeting during the spring in Oslo, BHL-Europe was officially accepted under the CETAF umbrella.

- Jiri Will present the BHL as very important source of scientific literature (related to his PhD theses) during the global conference - 9th International Symposium Cephalopods ‒ Present and Past ISCPP 9 which is in combination with the International Coleoid Symposium in Zurich in September.

GLOBAL MEETING PLANNING
The meeting would start on a FRIDAY and end on a TUESDAY.
The meeting would start in Sao Paolo and be at the FASESP offices with a BHL day to start that would be more heavily research focused. We would then follow that with a global BHL business meeting (possibly the next day). The group would the travel to Rio (a short flight from SP). There would be a free day in Rio.
There would be a BHL Day 2 in Rio that would be more popularly focused. This would be followed by an additional global business meeting (as needed). The Rio meetings would be at the Botanical Garden.
This outline is summarized below.
Abel is verifying the availability of the sites. BHL SciELO will also pay for all meeting spaces, ground travel/shuttles, and catered meals. Delegates would be responsible for air travel, lodging, and incidentals.
Let me and Connie know what you think of this proposal and we will get back to Abel. Depending on the scheduling of the global call, we can also discuss in more detail then.
