Frozen Books


Problem: after scanning and returning to the library, sometimes items are 'frozen' in IA as part of the QA process. It seems that sometimes books are permanently frozen, yet appear in IA.

Question:Are all these frozen books making it into the portal? If not, why? If frozen books have problems, why are the scanning centers not flagging them and asking us for them back to re-scan or correct?

Solutions: Can we identify (or have IA identify) frozen books that need to be rescanned. How do we distinguish them from frozen items that do not need to be rescanned?
