BHL Executive Committee Conference Call Dec 22, 2008

Development priorities list: coming soon. Cathy noted that we should add Library Thing to the social networking piece.
Mike Lichtenberg, Phil Cryer, Chris Moyers are the tech team.
Chris wants to know the real priorites given the staff and money resources.
Cathy noted that redundancy is the first priority. Connie noted that Harvard plans to ingest the Harvard-provided content.

Tom noted that the article repository is another key.

We rated each bullet point. Rankings reflect what the BHL development team can do. If others can work on some of these items (social networking, for instance), it is highly encouraged!

Tom might have found a potential candidate for the collection manager position.

Next step, Chris and Connie compare and Chris's group will identify time and level of effort.

Also a call for science information repositories bids. Graham and Adrian are putting in a bid. EU directorate and NSF are in contact so submission might be improved by DataNet work here.
