Goals
- Align the policy and operational developments in the BHL-US and BHL-Brazil projects, as well as plan for sharing of data and use of a common platform.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the scanning workflow for biodiversity texts from staff at the Smithsonian Institute and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
- Present and discuss technical development and implementation issues.
- Understand the selection of materials for digitization and determine and adopt the best solution for BHL-SciELO process.
- Familiarize with the Biodiversity Heritage Library organization and global governance topics.
