  • BHL EC elections : need chair, vice chair, secretary, Tom has list of who is eligible for office/vote: MOBOT, MBL, NHM, Harvard MCZ, Kew, Smithsonian, CAS
  • gBHL update: November 13, before L&L. All BHL partners except Egypt will be represented. Tom and Chris and William will contact Noha Adley before the meeting to gather BHL Egypt views. Will offer Skype to join meeting. Ely Wallis from Australia, Boris Jacob, Henning Scholz, Graham for BHL Europe, China--3 reps. William is leading agenda building. Tom is drafting an MOU to be circulated and will be a topic of discussion.
  • Cathy will identify who will identify who will be attending from BHL Classic (Cathy, Connie and newly elected person). Chris and Tom will represent "global". Also Martin as successor to Tom.
  • 23 applicants for the African scholarship. 10 scholarships awarded, some librarians, some scientists. Each will give presentation on biodiversity literature in Africa. Need to build an agenda. Meeting of this group will happen on Nov. 16. Chris will attend. To figure out what they need to contribute or build a node. Tom will be talking with Bryan Heidorn shortly regarding those selected and the agenda.
