Review Final report for IMLS instructions


ACTION: Connie to finish her actions: make sure all resident reports are in Dropbox folder: documents for reports (in LBNDSR2015) and summarize exit interviews.
ACTION: Each of us is to finish our resident reports and at least one more with an eye towards "is it what we expected? Is something major missing? How does this intersect with each of our residents' work? by next call. Then on to the point where we have read all the reports and thoroughly discussed them.
ACTION: Review the IMLS final performance report instructions and form.
ACTION Use the talks from the Capstone event (Connie, Katie, Leora) to develop lessons learned and next steps.

Some thoughts:

Resident recommendations: What will BHL do with them? How did the residents help with BHL plans? Ultimately what happens is resource-based. It is confirmed that full text search (first priority) and incorporating already transcribed materials will happen within a year.

Can we use resident recommendations for pursuing grants? We can identify key areas of importance and delve into them further with grant funding (collections analysis is one area to pursue. Alicia laid some great ground work but it is only the tip of the iceberg and it is important that we can expand it and go beyond BHL. This and how all the reports and recommendations integrate will be part of our discussion on March 12 after the Tar Pits field trip. We will meet at the Radisson. Some might need drinks.
