Connie wondered about how to reach the MCN/Museums and the Web crowd. Martin is going to have the Smithsonian intern office send out the job description. The project and job have gone out on the BHL blog and twitter accounts--not sure about BHL Facebook account.
Harvard Human resources folks who send the applications my way and answer human resources related questions are on vacation.
Quarterly reports are primarily narratives but if your financial office can provide information, that is helpful. We do need to track cost-share hours as well. IMLS only requires an annual (and final report) but if we prepare quarterly reports, it is helpful to Connie for tracking our progress and we can iron out the kinks for annual reports.
It is a bit complicated to think about interviewing for multiple positions at multiple sites. We determined that Connie will do a first pass to filter applicants. Connie will provide some structured questions for review by all for the initial call. We need to get at technical skills, ability to work independently and ability to work as a virtual (and in-person) team member.
Action: Connie will draft structured questions for the first filter of applicants.
