2016.08.02 NDSR Minutes
1. We discussed how to manage vacation and sick leave requests/needs for residents. Residents will get all holidays at our local institutions (Smithsonian has 11 in 2017; Harvard has standard holidays plus is closed the week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day, for instance). The expectation is that residents will work full time for 52 weeks. They will get holidays but will need to make up vacations and sick time. We set the start date for Jan 9, 2017 and end Jan 8 2018. Connie is checking to see how the stipends will be paid.
2. We decided that we will have a face to face meeting at the NDSA Digital Preservation meeting that follows DLF in Milwaukee
